‘Inspire – Innovate – Invest’ • 2-3 April 2012
The World Halal Forum 2012, themed ‘Inspire • Innovate • Invest’, will be held on 2-3 April at the Kuala Lumpur (KL) Convention Centre.
Now in its seventh edition, WHF envisage a forum that serves as a platform for a dialogue of doers on issues, challenges and opportunities that are universal and affects all ages, creeds and cultures. WHF sees a time to inspire, innovate and invest in a lifestyle based on values – a future where Halal is a principle shared by everyone, regardless of faith.
What’s a business to some is a lifestyle to others, and what is a lifestyle to some is a business to others. With this interconnectedness in mind, we bring about a programme that fuses business and lifestyle elements, with universal values as a common ground.
Intertwined with creative interludes by Australian graphic designer and artist, Peter Gould, titled “Reaching Out to Muslim Consumers – The Power of Arts”, as well as photographer from the UK, Peter Sanders, titled “Disseminating Islam through Photographic Books”, this year’s sessions are:

Malaysia to Host Malaysia Halal Week 2012

Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS), World Halal Research Summit (WHRS) and 7th World Halal Forum 2012 (WHF), which are targeted to bring in thousands of delegates and exhibitors from over 50 countries to drive the global Halal industry, deliberate issues and share advancements in Halal research.
The Malaysia Halal Week 2012 is a joint effort by three different organisations; MIHAS, WHRS and World Halal Forum(WHF) will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 2 – 7 April 2012.
World Halal Forum 2-3 April 2012
The 7th World Halal Forum by Kaseh Dia Sdn Bhd will be held from 2-3 April, 2012, with the theme “Inspire•Innovate•Invest” will kick start the Malaysia Halal Week. WHF is an integral component in the Halal industry in Malaysia. Hajjah Jumaatun Azmi, Founding Director of WHF reiterates ‘WHF will always remain the beacon and leader highlighting and finding resolution in the sea of global Halal trade issues and somewhat will have greater success as it is a fully private initiative by the stakeholders for the stakeholders”
WHRS 4-5 April 2012
The 5th World Halal Research Summit (WHRS) 2012 organised by HDC with the theme, “Innovation as Catalyst for Business Transformation” will be held from 4th – 5th April 2012. It will feature conference, poster presentation, exhibition and research commercialisation. WHRS is an international research event that brings together scientists, researchers, scholars, academicians alike to discuss and exchange ideas on new research findings, emerging technologies, trends, issues and challenges in the global Halal industry. Through Halal research and development findings, Malaysia is able to strengthen and achieve its vision as the global Halal hub. This Summit will be a foundation to stimulate technology commercialization in expanding the Halal industry for the benefit of the world.
MIHAS 4-7 April 2012
For the ninth year, MIHAS will again be held on 4 – 7 April 2012. With the theme, “Empowering the Global Halal Market”, this annually anticipated event will bring together the largest gathering of Halal industry players and entrepreneurs from all around the world.
Seminar Panduan Restoran Halal Held in IIUM

KasehDia in collaboration with JAKIM and IHI Alliance hold a “Seminar Panduan Restoran Halal” in IIUM. The Seminar Panduan Restoran Halal series is being held in response to the growing demand from restaurateurs and food service operators wanting to obtain JAKIM Halal certification but not sure of the processes and requirements.
